Our Family

Dr. Tanya Fournier
Veterinarian/Founder

Dr. Fournier is passionate about helping families provide the best care possible, fulfilling the growing need for accessible and comprehensive care. She brings over 16 years of veterinary medicine and surgical experience, including emergency care. Following graduation from the Ontario Veterinary College she began working in Toronto, a city she’s proudly called home for many years. While raising two little humans, alongside her spouse, she enjoys traveling, playing hockey and tennis, and spending time with her family and friends. Her home would not be complete without her rescued cat, Gnocchi the bengal.

Stephanie
Registered Veterinary Technician

A skilled and educated registered veterinary technician, Steph graduated from Ridgetown College, University of Guelph and has dedicated over 22 years to providing compassionate care for family pets. As an RVT, Steph has a special focus on animal behaviour and is passionate about using “Fear Free” techniques to make every pet’s visit as comfortable as possible. When she’s not at the clinic, you can find her working out, traveling, doing jigsaw puzzles (with a podcast on), reading, and being the fun Auntie in the family. Though her beloved dog Nelly passed from cancer two years ago, she carries Nelly’s spirit forward as she cheers for the Buffalo Bills. She’s also a big fan of HGTV, knows her dog breed trivia inside out, and can quote Seinfeld in her sleep.

Felicia
Veterinary Assistant

With over 18 years of experience in both general practice and emergency animal hospitals, Felicia brings a wealth of knowledge and genuine care to the veterinary team. Previously working in an office job, she eventually followed her passion for animal care—a career change she describes as one of the best decisions of her life. Since then, Felicia has completed multiple veterinary assistant certifications and continues to pursue training to stay current in her field. Known for her special fondness for Great Danes, she approaches every case with a broad perspective and heartfelt dedication. Outside of work, Felicia enjoys gymnastics, loves a good round of golf, and spending time with her two (not so small) danes.

Marianna
Host

With over 25 years of experience in the veterinary field, Marianna brings both a deep understanding of animal behaviour and a warm, friendly approach to every visitor at the clinic. Holding a BA in Psychology from the University of Guelph and a Diploma in Renewable Resources from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Marianna has a unique perspective on animal wellness. Marianna has also completed a Wolf Behaviour Practicum at Wolfpark in Indiana. Outside of work, Marianna enjoys bird watching, reading, and photographing animals (wait, she does this at work too!), and shares a home with two beloved cats, Colin Feral and Bikini, who never fail to bring a smile to her face.

Amanda
Animal Attendant

Amanda brings a unique blend of farm-grown experience and formal training to the veterinary field, having grown up surrounded by dairy cows, goats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, and even peacocks! She graduated as an Environmental Technician from Canadore College and went on to complete Animal Care and Advanced Animal Care programs at Sheridan College. With four years of experience in both general and emergency practice, she’s currently working toward her goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician, with a future specialty in dermatology for small animals. Outside of work, you’ll find Amanda hiking with her dogs, Everest (Labrador) and Vonder (Cane Corso mix), or relaxing at home with her cats, Clyde, Lucifer, and Milo. A Harry Potter fan and avid Lego builder, she also makes regular weekend visits to the zoo to fuel her love for animals and nature.
